Phnom Penh: The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen, told Mother Nature activists that joining the government is to find a common and effective solution. He asked, "If you only demonstrations and protests without the participation of the government, what is the result?"

On the night of March 11, 2023, PM Hun Sen called a group of more than 30 former founders and members of Mother Nature, saying that it was better to work with Cambodians than with foreigners. He cited the example that before these activists worked with foreigners and opposed the government, there was never a solution.

PM said: "When you step into the government, it means that all of you, both the government and the youth, go with you. Because this is the property of the whole Khmer nation, so If you only demonstrations and protests without the participation of the government, what is the result?”

PM stated that protecting the environment is to protect the work of the tourism community and in line with the Green Cambodia policy of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

Recently, activists who have previously opposed the government have repeatedly join to the Royal Government of Cambodia, which they say is to join the government in resolving the current problem in Cambodia.
